A.U.N.T.I.E. & U.N.K. is a relationship-centered nonprofit for foster youth, kids on the street, and emerging adults aging out alone — ages 11–25. These are young people who have moved too many times, lost too many people, and learned the hard way not to count on anyone staying.
So we stay. We give them an Auntie and an Unk — trusted adults who show up, week after week, with a warm meal and steady love. Not because they’re a project. Because they’re ours. Because every child deserves an Auntie. Every child deserves an Unk.
To empower foster youth, at-risk youth, and emerging adults through intentional relationships, mentorship, life skills education, leadership development, workforce readiness, family engagement, and community partnerships — while connecting every participant with a dedicated Auntie or Unk who provides consistent support, encouragement, and accountability.
To build stronger communities by ensuring every foster youth, at-risk youth, and emerging adult has access to trusted adults, meaningful opportunities, and the support needed to thrive personally, academically, professionally, and emotionally.
It takes a village to raise a child. We are that village.
